We OfferAs the Terminal Procurement Manager for Latin America OCL, you will work together with a diverse team of professionals within the Americas Region.

You will be overall responsible for driving the Terminals Procurement Portfolio, with ownership of some locations spread across Terminals in Latin America of spend value USD m annualized.

You will also part of a team consisting of Terminal Procurement Managers as well as interacting with other functions such as Contract Management, Performance Management, and Finance Business Partners and the America's execution teams locally, plus Centre procurement, Network and digital functions globally - all of who will play specific roles at Managing the Portfolio Professionally.

You are part of a in a diverse supplier and stakeholder landscape, where you will have the opportunity to be part of the wider Terminals as well as larger Procurement Americas and Global Community, where coordination and learnings take place.

You will have the opportunity to interact and work closely with teams in Centre functions, the Region, Commercial Areas, Operations teams in a highly dynamic, geo-politically sensitive and complex function and Geography.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeads, directs, evaluates, and develops owned Terminal Procurement Portfolio in Latin AmericaEnsures execution of the Project pipelines to reach annualized business cost goalsDevelop, enhance and execute negotiation strategies towards our suppliers.

Develop own capability, and contribute to other team member's capabilities to drive complex negotiations across supplier groupsDevelop strategic supplier relationship management programsClose interaction with Contract Management to ensure all agreements are realizing contractual valuesCreate, evolve and enhance stakeholder map - we work in a complex universe with internal plus external stakeholders, this role will be responsible to own that map for your owned Terminals landscapeDriving professionalization of the Terminal Procurement function, including Port and Terminal playbooks, Supplier Relationship Program, Supplier Performance & scorecardsParticipate and Provides input to the network design based on market knowledge ensuring a cost-optimal deployment of assets; in line with contractualWork closely on the internal collaboration agenda with Group entities and lead, support and institutionalize analytical decision basesParticipate and Provides input to heads of logistics and services, Terminal and landside strategySupport and Provides input to internal stakeholders in order to drive a red thread through local and global initiatives, and improve synergies and implement global standards within contractsHave a clear ability to think beyond just cost and look at long term value driven solutions with partners, including Digital, performance improvement, customer centricity, ESG, P2P process standardization agenda through future looking contracting.

Ability to build long term partnerships and contracts of the future, by defining symbiotic long-term value between Maersk and PartnersSecure constant improvement of our contracting clauses, ensuring vendors accountability for customers outcomes and network integrity.

Constantly monitoring of Procurement to Pay process, implementing changes that help standardization and automation of processes.

Working closely with the Inland logistics procurement teams, to ensure delivery of seamless integrated solutions to our customersExecute, control and comply with global standard processes across Procurement processes.

Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to drive supplier contracts risk management agenda.

Who we are looking forAcademic Background:
Minimum Bachelor's degree.
