PurposeThe Surge Contractor shall provide short term surge capacity support to the Amentum Macfadden Contract for the USAID/BHA-funded Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Regional Disaster Assistance Program (RDAP).
The Amentum Macfadden Surge Contractor will provide intermittent emergency response efforts in their country or region as requested.If the Surge Contractor is required to stay overnight outside of their home of record, they may be reimbursed lodging and meals and incidental expenses (M&IE) based on Amentum's policy for their location of travel.
The reimbursement for per diem must be pre-approved in writing by Amentum to support invoice payment.Amentum Macfadden will secure the required USAID/BHA approvals to engage the Surge Contractor as required to support the RDAP program as a Surge Consultant.
The Surge Contractor will receive direction from the designated Amentum authorized representative, to include the RDAP field-based COP, DCOP, Disaster Risk Management Specialist (DRMS) and/or Amentum's RDAP Program Manager or their designee, as communicated in writing to the Surge Consultant.
