Cad Technician

Moffatt & Nichol is actively seeking a junior level CAD Technician to join our Panama office.

This individual will draft and revise detail drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for use in planning, permitting, reports, and various construction documents.

Projects range from structural infrastructure in the areas of ports and harbors, coastal, environmental, water resources, urban waterfronts and marinas to transportation bridges, rail, and buildings.

Duties & responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Transform initial rough designs and mark-ups into finished working documents.

Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations such as cargo terminals, marinas, wharfs, bulkhead walls and coastal structures (beaches, revetments, breakwaters and jetties.)Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established standards.

Compute volumes of excavations and fill for dredging and earthmoving projects.
Assist designers and senior technicians with preparation of engineering drawing packages.
