Country Operations Senior Manager

End-to-end responsible for the TowerCo carveout, setup and operations in country, including all areas of the company

  • Manage the relationship with the local Tigo as the anchor tenant
  • Manage the relationship with Tigo as the provider of Transition Services Agreements post carveout, and diligently execute the separation strategy in an efficient way
  • Ensure compliance with the main operational KPIs of budget and Strategic Plan as agreed with the regional TowerCo team
  • Participate and lead the negotiations of the main commercial agreements and contracts building commercial alliances with all parties, in coordination with the regional TowerCo team
  • Manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team as the main element of a highperformance organization
  • Champion the company's cultural values across the board
  • Act as the company's representative in country towards clients, regulators, investors and the community in generalKey Interfaces
  • Direct report to the Regional TowerCo GM
  • Interactions with Headquarter C-Levels and Management team to ensure alignments with the whole organization
  • High visibility with current and potential customers and key partners
  • Key interface towards public entities and regulatorsQualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar, preferably with a master's degree in Management, Finance, Telecommunications or similar.
MIC TowerCo is looking for an experienced senior manager in business management or segments in telecommunications. Fluent in English and Spanish. The ability to make presentations, participate and lead in conferences in English is mandatory.
Experience

  • Proven experience as owner of an income statement, with a focus on profitability and cash generation, and in the management high performance teams
  • Proven experience in the negotiation of contracts and commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated experience in the Presentation of Results in Spanish and English to Management Committees and Boards of Directors and in the interaction with shareholder representatives
  • Extensive experience leading departments and areas in growth, as well as in business development, strategic planning and budget analysis and controlCore Competencies
  • Ability to train, develop and manage teams. Strong leadership ability. Strategic mindset. Professional business acumen. Outstanding problemsolving skills.
