  • Hitachi Rail STS Peru is looking for a motivated PS&TP Engineering and Commissioning Engineer to work on the Panama L3 Monorail Project. Show us your ideas for improvement and innovation The job is based in Panama City, Panama.

  • Responsibilities
  • 3 to 5 years of Engineering and Commissining expertise
  • Understanding of Design and Development processes, related procedures, KPIs
  • Familiarity with transportation system components, system architecture, and technical concepts
  • Knowledge of electrical system design principles
  • Experience in ensuring Traction Power and Power Supply compliance
  • Ability to carry out electrical system testing
  • Familiarity with commissioning rules, standards, and specific project requirements
  • Knowledge of railway environment and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with other technologies
  • Plan and execute test activities according to schedule
  • Verification activities on Power Supply & Traction Power documents
  • Execute tests, report non-compliances, and propose remedies
  • Identify contractual requirements for PS&TP design
  • Contribute to Contact line standardization
  • Achieve activity budget and design release targets

Education / Qualifications

> Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

> Panama P.Eng certification is a plus.
