Americas PMO & Operational Excellence Lead
This role will become an enabler for the Americas GBS organization. The Americas PMO & Operational Excellence Lead takes on a regional leadership role, spearheading the transformation efforts for the organization under their scope - GBS Nashville, Panama, and Varginha - and enables the organization to drive structural performance improvements. Shares responsibility and accountability towards achievement of financial commitments and KPIs. Drives towards successful execution of the business transformation roadmap to deliver upon strategic business priorities as set out in the Strategic Planning process (incl. Hoshin Planning). Together with the Leadership Teams in the hubs, will be responsible to drive a culture of Performance Management across the organization.

Your role:

• Design, develop, and implement the lean improvement roadmap for your area of responsibility linked to the business Hoshin and/or strategic priorities.
• Deliver 7% Year-on-Year productivity in GBS by partnering multiple markets, IT and vendors. Team up with businesses and respective Functions assigned globally to deliver on their productivity targets (EUR P&L Impact).
• Team up with Regions for Value Creation across Philips value streams to support ( NPS, Operational KPI and/or any other related KPIs – per roadmap)
• Assess key business metrics and situations from a "Site Leader's" point of view and engage with the LT and middle managers, helping them identify opportunities where lean, 6S, and CI tools can be used to improve such metrics and situations.
• Using creativity and lean expertise, create VSMs that will result in World-Class Lean Implementation. Identify and lead (where applicable) the Kaizen(s) needed to achieve the vision.

You're the right fit if:

• You have acquired minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles within a multinational company, including leading digital transformation, process automation and innovation teams.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related areas and are LEAN and Six sigma Black Belt certified (must) and/or a master's degree and a PMP certification (desirable).
• Your skills include leading teams, effective communication, excellent interpersonal skills as well as ability to build strong relationships, strong influencing and negotiating skills, adaptability, decision making, strategic thinking.
• Advanced English Level both written and spoken.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This role is office-based.
