**Position Summary**:
The Principal of the Primary School is a key figure who prioritizes student learning and places students at the center of all decisions. This educational leader has the highest expectations for learning experiences, well-being, and the holistic development of their students. They actively promote institute's missions and vision through enthusiastic and comitted participation in school life, maintaining a firm commitment to students, colleagues, and parents.

**Reports to**: General Director
**Directly responsible for**: Primary leadership team, teachers/tutors, section support staff

**The Primary Section Director is responsible for**:

- Ensuring the protection and well-being of all stakeholders.
- Leading outstanding, innovative, and creative teaching and learning throughout the school.
- Organizing the annual schedule for teachers.
- Organizing the annual calendar of activities and events and communicating it to all stakeholders.
- Providing guidance to teachers on effective curriculum and classroom practices.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Collaboratively managing the workflow of primary staff.
- Participating in weekly leadership meetings, leading weekly section meetings, and professional development for staff.
- Ensuring thorough understanding and implementation of the Section and School policies and procedures.
- Innovating, inspiring, and empowering school improvement in all areas of the Primary Section.
