Security Escort

Position Summary This position is required to administer all actions and functions pertaining to physical security maintenance and documentation as well as coordination of services, for loss prevention and mitigation programs. The Security Escort is responsible, under general supervision, for the operational coordination of security operations and administration within his or her area of responsibility. Coordinate security maintenance services with providers for the proper care of security systems, and equipment to maintain the sustainability of operations for all responsible areas on ISP. Supports the Compliance, Safety & Information Security Manager with the coordination of business continuity drills and exercises as well as response to crisis incidents either manmade or any unavoidable natural catastrophe. This position reports to the Compliance, Safety & Information Security Manager Department: CSI - Compliance, Safety & Information Security Responsibilities (not limited): Coordinate and executes the required work orders to keep technical and physical security systems in optimum operational condition as well as maintenance of services on existent or new security equipment for ISP. Prepares statistics reports on a monthly basis of services provided to security systems and deviations of security systems. Supports the coordination of Business Continuity services, such as emergency drills and training. Inspects ISP physical security systems and related equipment responding to immediate repair actions through service suppliers and coordination for emergency repairs. Support Compliance, Safety & Information Security operations, and child welfare. Supports access control requests and maintains system data. Provide customer support in security issues and maintenance of identification media. Supports contractor’s qualifications process. Performs physical security inspections of facilities to ensure compliance standards with the security industry. Coordinate and executes the training for the guard force to ensure compliance with ISP requirements. Maintain sustainability of the department’s emergency response equipment. Maintain operational department’s records and statistics. Attend workshops and training sessions as appropriate. Performs other related duties, as assigned, for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

**Key Selection Criteria and Competencies Bilingual**: English and Spanish preferred but not required Two years of previous experience and basic knowledge of electronic and physical security systems as well as fire prevention systems are not required but are preferable. The Job requires sitting through long periods working on a computer, using the phone, and revising documentation.
