**What's the Role?**:
Latam Codes & Approvals Manager ensures that all necessary test certificates, product and system approvals are available in order to sell our products to our customers making sure all products meet local & regional regulatory requirements

**What does the role involve?**:
- Defining, communicating and implementing regional Codes & Approvals Strategy and Roadmap
- Understanding and translating formal requirements and procedures in Code Development to Stakeholders
- Establishing network and resilient business relationship with relevant code officials / authorities as well as key influencers (design firms, test institutes, universities, opinion leaders, competitors, insurance companies, trade associations, standardization bodies, etc.)
- Initiating / participating / managing relevant research projects to further develop the state of the art as base for future Code changes
- Participate as a voting member or chair in relevant Code Committees to anticipate, monitor, initiate and execute relevant Code changes
- Understanding framework of other global Codes & Regulations to identify synergies and interaction with local Codes
- Supporting local Market organizations in interactions with Code & regulation bodies and committees
- Supporting local Market Organizations needs in training, product testing and industry events

**What you need is**:
- University graduate in engineering preferably in Chemical / Mechanical / Structural engineering
- Experience in code / standard development, engineering and/or testing combined with marketing skills
- Proficiency in English and Spanish/Portuguese
- Analytical skills, strategic thinking and organisational awareness / resourceful use of influence
- Ability to create strong business relationships
- Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
- Ability to maintain strong technical position, while being flexible to accept different viewpoints to develop own view point
