SAP FICO Functional Consultant: Roles and Responsibilities

Experience: 8 to 15 years
- Skilled in Base Customization with minimum 8 years of experience implementing SAP FICO Module
- Analyze and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
- Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling - Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement.)
- Design, customize, configure, and test FICO modules.
- Configure G/L, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting
- Suggest process improvements based on your understanding of FICO modules.
- Proficient in External Reporting and preparation of Financial Statements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- The profile is open to US Citizens ONLY owing to sensitivity of client project.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FICO (heavier in CO), PS and S/4HANA.
- Minimum 5 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
- Minimum of 1 full life-cycle project with S/4HANA
- Minimum 3 projects with A&D related companies.
- Must have at least 2 projects with CO and Project Systems (PS), GPD would be added advantage
- Must have 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations
- Must be able to travel at least 50% on site
- No sponsorship is available due to the nature and sensitivity of the end client work
- Experience with functional configuration of GPD is preferred.
- Hands on and in-depth knowledge of GST tax accounting and processes
- SAP Certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Certification in S/4HANA will be added advantage
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer / IT Eng. or related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
