At AES we are looking for a MCAC IR & Financing Sr Analyst

Role description

The role shall be responsible for the analysis and keeping track the collection and delivering compelling arguments to investors, including buy and sell-side analysts, banks, rating agencies and other investors for each of the businesses in the MCAC region as well as supporting the preparation of disclosure documents such as presentations and earnings releases as and when due. Also, he will support in the preparation of the materials of the different Board Meetings of the entities in MCA&C

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and prepare presentations and quarterly financial disclosure documents for AES MCAC businesses.- Develop and disseminate standardized reporting material which shall include earnings releases, financial statements and Regulatory filings among others- Actively report relevant facts to investors and investor community- Ensure other areas of AES MCAC are made aware of information requirements and deadlines for submission- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for use internally or externally.- Administer deadlines for submission of information and analysis- . Structure debt products including but not limited to loans, syndicated loans, bonds and project financing- financing Identify and execute liability management transactions. Maintain close working relationship with senior level bankers, investors and shareholders- Involve key stakeholders (minority shareholders, financing partners, AES Corp, other SBU Areas and local management) as needed to ensure transactions have necessary resources and correct level of involvement to ensure successful execution- Support with all analytic bases for structure debt products including but not limited to loans, syndicated loans, bonds and project financing- Work together with the manager for ensure that transactions have the necessary analysis and data to guarantee a successful execution

Requirements- BA/BS in Business, Finance or related field (if not finance, MBA preferred).- High level of Microsoft Office knowledge.- Strong presentation skills are required.- Spanish and English advanced.- Strong communicational skills- Between 3 to 5 years of experience- Good understanding of the energy sector in general.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Certain knowledge of credit documents.- Strong internal and external networks.
