Intermediate Designer

**Position**: Intermediate Designer Purpose: Run portions/elements of a project or smaller scale project with the oversight of a Senior or Design Director Impact: Proactive work of which the output is comprehensive, accurate and demonstrates creative leadership and/or strong project management—done largely autonomously and has a footprint with the client that is up to the P&I standard in aesthetic and client service Reports To: Studio Director with dotted line to Seniors by project Direct Reports: Dotted line oversight of Juniors by project DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Client Service: - Professional demeanor with clients - Attend client meetings - Prepare meeting minutes after each client meeting - Support team in preparation of client presentations and documentation - Present own work in client meetings Creative Leadership - Follows and speaks to current industry trends on space, function, lighting, materials, hardware and equipment, etc. - Attend design fairs/tradeshows and report back to team - Attend vendor 'lunch & learn' presentations and report back to team - Source new vendors/products and present to team Financial Leadership - 100% timely and accurate timesheets - 100% timely and accurate reimbursable expenses (personal & project) Project Deliverables - Assist in the production of project administration (budgets, schedules, etc.) - Produce project drawings (floor plans, elevations, electrical plans, RCPs, detail drawings, millwork drawings, etc.) accurately and efficiently at the appropriate level - Produce project documentation (material schedules, finish schedules, fixture schedules, etc.) accurately and efficiently at the appropriate level - Source, select and specify all materials, finishes, fixtures, hardware, equipment and appliances appropriately - Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders (vendors, contractors, building management, etc.) appropriately People Leadership - Mentor junior staff (if applicable)

**Requisitos**:

- Possesses a high taste level and has knowledge of high-end market - Able to make decisions and communicate in a fast-paced environment. - Highly presentable, intelligent, confident and discreet with an outgoing, upbeat and confident demeanor. - Goal and detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal). - Proficient in the use AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs. - Possess sound knowledge of interior design principles/practices. - A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. At least 5 years of demonstrated work experience.
