Entertainment Engineer

**Job Description What's the role**: Back Office Engineer responsible for design, architecture and solutions on Entertainment platforms that serve to Legacy QAM and OTT services. Including linear and non linear services across LLA markets. What you'll do: Knowledge of Digital TV technologies, STB Middleware platforms and Video Delivery technologies, including: CAS, DRM, video back-ends, workflows, CMS, security services, search, recommendations.Defines the end-to-end architecture and service design across Technology.Technical leadership for the E2E design of new features and platforms.Participate on vendor's selecction that will provide end to end solutions for Entertainment platform and services.Knowledge of service-oriented architectures, microservices, and technologies used on current and future entertainment's architectures.Responsible for writing technical documentation for systems design/architecture specifications such HLD and LLD, including the use of UML, block diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.Contribute to the design and implementation of components and solutions for customer-specific consulting services agreements. To work in collaboration with Project Management and company distributed engineering teams.Knowledge of Java/Groovy, ??JavaScript, ??Python, ??AWS, ??Kubernetes, ??API’s, ??Video technology (Transcoding, DRM, Ad Insertion).Assist as Tier 3 to local opeartions in case of major incidents on Entertainment services.Knowledge of Internet, TCP/IP Systems and Protocols, and Unix based systems.
