From a position of strength, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), the leader in prestige beauty products, embarked on the Leading Beauty Forward program, chartered to fuel product innovation and enhance market agility. A key element of this strategy was the design of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. **Position Overview**:
Support Global Brand Operations to manage SKU Portfolio Optimization efforts and excellence in execution of SKU Transition Planning efforts. Support and drive continuous improvement of STAR Process. Provide analytical assistance for service and inventory optimization as needed.
**Qualifications** Roles & Responsibilities**:
**STAR Process (50%)**
- Align with Brand Marketing and GBSC lead on STAR programs for execution and Retirement Strategy (Retirement type, FED, LPR)
- Coordinate execution with Regions/Functions/Brand to ensure timely SKU retirement while mitigating risk to inventory and service
- Drive process by leveraging the STAR Console, SKU reports and analytical tools
- Manage FED Exception requests to align with regional need
- Lead monthly discussions with Regions/Functions to track progress
- Integrate Branded STAR Project Management with Category Planning organization
- Prepare component liability analysis and can-build potential, including Supplier Liabilities (not in SAP).
- Make recommendations for optimal dates to stop production.
- Escalate risks to GBSC Brand Ops lead for resolution with Brand Marketing

**STAR Process - Upticks (30%)**
- Integrate Branded BOM Transition Projects with Category Planning organization
- Prepare and Analyze inventory liability risks, making recommendations for optimal effectivity dates.
- Coordinate communication to/from Materials Management regarding BOM changes and liability management.
- Attend Branded Basic Business management meetings.
- Escalate risks to GBSC Brand Ops lead for resolution with Brand Marketing

**Service Support (10%)**
- Work with Brand Ops lead to ensure standardization in performance management
- Participate in Brand IIT meetings and follow up on action items
- Support Brand Ops lead in prep work for Service Meetings, IIT and IBP

**Inventory Reporting - IBP (10%)**
- Provide OE lead with support related to monthly reporting
- Monitor regional performance related to opportunities and tactics
- Support Brand Ops lead in prep work for Service Meetings, IIT and IBP

**Management**
- Supervises team members to ensure ‘every day great execution’
- Ensures 100% compliance with all standard operating processes, systems and solutions
- Escalates any performance issues to STAR lead.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Minimum 4-year college degree - preferably business or supply chain focus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in Supply Planning
- APICS CPM (or equivalent) a plus, Industrial Engineering, Operations research, or mathematics background preferred but willing to consider other technical majors and relevant experience.
- Proven Leadership and Decision-Making capabilities. - Highly analytical - analyzes & utilizes facts effectively for presentation to decision makers.
- High familiarity with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, New Product Planning and IBP processes
- Familiarity with SAP, O9, SNP or other advanced planning systems.
- Must be an excellent team player with strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiating, and communication skills
- Excellent follow up and organizational skills required
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment
