Jr. Backend/Integrations Specialist

**Our Company**

**GAF Healthcare Services** Panama is seeking a motivated and talented Jr. Backend/Integrations Specialist to support our growing U.S.based healthcare operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical resource eager to work on system integrations, automation, and data flow management. Collaborating closely with the VP of Technology, you will play a key role in optimizing workflows and building scalable integration solutions to meet business needs.

This position is ideal for someone with a backend and integration software development foundation, keen analytical skills, and a proactive attitude. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to ensure success and professional growth.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **API Development and Integration**: Maintain API integrations to enable seamless communication between systems, Design and implement.
- **Automation Solutions**: Develop and enhance automated workflows using integration tools to streamline operational processes.
- **Data Management**: Build ETL pipelines and manage database architectures to ensure reliable data synchronization across platforms.
- **Project Feasibility and Documentation**: Conduct feasibility studies, create Proof of Concept (POC) solutions, and maintain documentation in tools like Jira and Confluence.
- **KPI Reporting**:Analyze and report integration project performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance**: Partner with QA teams to test and validate workflows and integration solutions.
- **Workflow Optimization**:Act as a resource for integration engines and improve system workflows for operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years in backend development or system integration roles.
- SaaS integration experience is a plus.

**Technical Skills**:
**Proficiency with integration platforms**:

- Re-tool, Make, Iguana, Boomi, Zappier, Workato.
- Clear understanding of APIs, web scraping, and web technologies like java and HTML.
- Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, and SQL for database development.

**Tools and Platforms**:
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Outlook for project management and collaboration.

Pay: B/.1,800.00 - B/.2,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- API leverage for connecting 2 systems together: 1 year (required)
- SQL: 1 year (preferred)
- Java: 1 year (preferred)
