Funciones del Puesto

Teach English utilizing the course of study adopted by the Hebrew Academy
Implement student centered teaching and learning techniques
Develop lesson and unit plans, course objectives and outline following specific
guidelines of school’s educational philosophy.
Utilize effective teaching techniques to translate lesson plans into dynamic and
productive student learning experiences
Provide focused instruction utilizing all the class time available effectively
Prepare and devise assessments, tests and exams that effectively measure
student’s progress
Grade tests, essays, writing assignments and any other work consistently to
provide students’ feedback
Attend and participate actively in faculty/ professional staff meetings
Maintain classroom discipline and organization to promote a functional learning
environment
Be involved in syllabus and curriculum development
Discuss and report student’s academic progress, behavior problems and remedial
issues to parents and administrators as needed
Upload grades, reports, lesson plans and other information to RENWEB platform
regularly
Supervise environment to provide safe surroundings for children in and out of the
classroom
Communicate and cooperate with leader and professional staff in academic areas
Maintain high standards of ethical and moral conduct
Dress according to school’s cultural norms
