The Customer Information QA Analyst will be responsible for the auditing, monitoring, and offering suggestions to improve overall efficiency of the team’s research processes. Supported by Researchers, Customer Information Analysts, Process Engineers, Technology Developers, and Business Leaders, this role will foster a culture of continuous improvement that embraces quality assurance, problem-solving, and waste elimination. By making actionable customer information available, we help Grainger market, sell, and deliver the best products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Perform process performance audit by sampling and analyzing data created through standardized research
Understandsthe US MRO market - what customers exist in which industries, and how attractive they are to Grainger
Initiate rework processes as necessary and provide feedback to the research team to ensure that data discrepancies are corrected in a timely manner
Measure and communicate process performance metrics
Collaborate with stakeholders across Grainger to maximize quality and efficiency of Customer Information research
Contribute to development and continuousimprovement of standard research processes
Enhance audit processes based upon quality findings to reduce data defects and reduce manual work required to identify errors in the information we create
Partner with Customer Information Design team to set data standards and enhance the CI governance framework

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is a broad line, business-to-business distributor of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies
and other related products and services. More than 3.2 million businesses and institutions worldwide rely on Grainger
for products such as safety gloves, ladders, motors and janitorial supplies, along with services like inventory management
and technical support.

These customers represent a broad collection of industries including healthcare, manufacturing,
government and hospitality. They place orders online, on mobile devices, through sales representatives, over the phone
and at local branches. Approximately 5,000 suppliers provide Grainger with more than 1.6 million products stocked in Grainger’s

**Requisitos**:
Bachelor’s Degree required
1-3 years of experience
Advanced computer skills with proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
Desire to develop additional technical and quantitative skills (Excel, SQL, R, DOMO)
Data Governance - ability develop and monitor processes to ensure customer information meets our department data standards and helps organization achieve its goals
Critical thinking
- ability to work with large amounts of data, identify trends and recommend solutions based on findings
Technical writing
Strong understanding of business and technical process
Bilingual (English/Spanish
- read, write, speak)
Clear written and visual communication
Thorough, thoughtful online research
