Master Electrician

** OCONUS - Kuwait ** Must be a U.S. Citizen ** The Master Electrician will be responsible for the overall on time completion of assigned projects. Read blueprints, order materials, communicate with management personnel requirements and schedule issues and the demolition, installation and troubleshooting of electrical items not limited to: bending pipe and conduit, running wire, installing devices and lighting. RMS will be performing Base Operation Support (BOS-1) to the United States Armed Forces in Kuwait, as part of the AFCAP V Contract Essential Job Functions: Perform work required for the construction and installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial work projectsPerform work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competencyRepair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses and replacing defective wiringTest electrical equipment, such as, motors, heaters and controls for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment and by observing functionsInstall fixtures, wiring conduits, motors and other electrical equipmentInspect circuits for specified shielding and groundingInstall feedersWire and conduit sizingSwitchgear and device installation and terminationUnderground layout and rough-inMotors and controls troubleshootingWork responsibly using personal and company supplied tools and equipmentPerform all job duties following all established safety standardsLocate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipmentMaintain a “can do” attitude that is broadcast to those they influence Education and Experience: (or equivalent)High School Diploma or equivalent.5+ to 7 years’ experienceAbility to sustain considerable physical effort at frequent intervalsStand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift/carry up to 50lbs 100 feetAbility to climb laddersUse basic hand and power tools as required License & Certifications: Must be a Master ElectricianOSHA 30 Safety Certification.Valid Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.Must have a Valid US Passport.
