Shop Foreman

**Reports to**: VAPA Coordinator Collaborates closely with: Innovation and Technology Coordinator and Visual and Performing Arts and STEM teachers Job Summary and Responsibilities: ISP is seeking a proactive, well organized, and collaborative Shop Foreman, who shares a passion for creativity, design and construction who will be responsible for Building the VAPA Production Sets Collaborating with STEM/VAPA students and teachers to assist in development of authentic design projects. Training and supervising students and teachers on proper use of tools, equipment, construction techniques, and safety procedures. Ensuring projects are completed on time for the production schedule. Ensuring tools and equipment utilized in the shop are in safe working order, and request appropriate upgrades when necessary. Reporting inventories and materials lists (including lumber, hardware, fabrics etc.) to supervisor in a timely manner for order, delivery, and build.
