What the role isWe are looking to recruit an observant lifeguard to ensure the safety of visitors and guests alike in and around the pool area. The lifeguard will explain safety rules, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce policies on showers and proper attire.

Participate in daily maintenance tasks, as necessary.Instruct or assist classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed.Resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure a safe pool environment when competing programs/priorities require use of the pool.Dependent on the profile of the successful applicant, duties may include supporting the Experience & Destination team with daily tasks related to programming - wellness, sports, activities coordination and general support.What you need for the roleKnowledge and ability to evaluate conditions, at the pool, or other offsite natural pools, streams, or rivers to determine any potential dangers or hazardsAbility to adjust programs as necessary to ensure the safety of the visitors and other staffSwimming proficiency and comfort in all types of water conditionsAbility to judge and evaluate evolving dynamics of individuals participating in aquatic activities to immediately assess their capabilities and threats to their safetyKnowledge of on-site protocols, operational procedures, and safety policiesKnowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical servicesMinimum of 6 months of related work experienceCertified Lifeguard Training CertificationLow and High Skill Wellness DeliveryStaff who are wellness-focused and have a passion themselves (or hold a qualification) can deliver a wellness activity in the location for our Luna Loyalty Program.
