The Assortment Planner's primary purpose is to support the Assortment Planning Manager in making sure the assortment reflects the cluster needs and supports GBU product development pipelines.

To be the eyes and ears of the customer for the LAPAC Office and ensure the cluster needs are clear from an assortment line plan. Support to ensure excellent execution across all touch points of the go-to-market strategy. This position is also dedicated to assuring all information (including pricing and product master data) on the Products is updated and available. Your Role as an Assortment Planner: Assortment Planning: Using data and insights to optimize assortment by style, collection, product category, and any other relevant product attributes Newness Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to predict demand accurately.

**Pricing**: research various market trends and pricing strategies, track customer engagements on products to determine and develop efficient pricing strategies and insights, and create formal proposals for margin optimization. Channel Segmentation: understand the different tiers and clients we reach and what is the best combination and portfolio that suits their desires. Open-to-Buy Review: Partner with Merchandise Planning and Demand Planning teams on the Open to Buy process, as well as inputs into demand forecast Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key performance metrics, including sell-through rates, LfL indexes and Variances to Plan. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with regional merchandising, marketing, visual merchandising, ecomm teams on go-to market strategies and to gather market insights, understand customer preferences, and adjust assortments as needed. Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Cluster Merchandising, and Merchandise Financial Planning, to align merchandise strategies with overall business objectives. Inform and influence sales teams on product knowledge and selling of focus products Ad hoc test and learn projects that further inform assortment strategy and/or commercial presentations What is needed to succeed: A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising or similar 3-5+ years of merchandising, planning, allocation, or sales experience Euromonitor, Ecomm Marketing, or Online Scraping experience a plus A passion for jewelry and an understanding of fashion trends is desirable Passionate about product and industry trends Data-driven and fact-based decision-maker Effective communicator with a clear point of view Team player with a positive mindset Agile in navigating through ambiguities and changes A strong understanding of strengths and weaknesses and the ability to be self-aware Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Fluent English is a must. Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
