Collections Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Supervisor to join our team at Grainger Businesses. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the collection of delinquent accounts for our corporate, commercial, government, and international customers.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective credit and collections procedures to ensure timely recovery of past due receivables.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of our A/R portfolio, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Plan and execute a program for the collection of past due receivables, including negotiation with customers for compromise settlements and partial payments.
- Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex collections issues and remove payment barriers.
- Ensure compliance with company collection policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction to direct reports, offering constructive feedback and promoting an inclusive environment.
- Communicate collection goals and progress to collectors and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with Microsoft programs.
- Experience with collection laws and practices.
