PS&TP Engineer

About the Role

Hitachi Rail STS Peru is seeking a skilled PS&TP Engineer to work on our Panama L3 Monorail Project. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and development of superior rail transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering and commissioning.
• Knowledge of design and development processes, related procedures, and instructions.
• Knowledge of system, subsystems, and related interactions.
• Knowledge of basic technical concepts and main PS&TP architecture and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical system design principles.
• Knowledge of checking that traction power and power supply meet specifications and fulfill intended purposes.
• Knowledge of commissioning rules and standards.
• Ensure interface with other relevant technologies.
• Ensure test planning and coordination of operational activities on site.
• Ensure verification activities on power supply and traction power documents.
• Ensure execution of tests and issuing test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering or information technology.
• Panama P.Eng is desirable.
