Measurement Instrumentation Calibration Specialist

SGS is seeking a highly skilled Measurement Instrumentation Calibration Technician to join our team in the Panama region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking client site-based measurement instrumentation calibration duties, primarily associated with gas measurement, LNG/LPG import, export, and client loading facilities.

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate online gas measurement systems, analyzer/chromatographs, pressure letdown and conditioning systems, and custody standard & fiscal gas metering systems.
• Contribute to the delivery of the department's workload, ensuring effective project activities within agreed timescales and budget, and meeting client expectations and maximizing revenue.
• Develop essential metering and measurement skills through practice, guidance of peers, self-study, and external exposure to client operating sites.
• Adopt safe behavior, exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients, in line with SGS's policies and procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with SGS's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct and Equality & Diversity policy.

• Maintain organized and auditable systems of work in line with company QA procedures.
• Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of current measurement technologies, standards, and industry legislation.
• Work closely with team members, peers, or line managers to achieve timely and effective delivery of services to meet business objectives.
• Liaise and develop sustainable relationships with new and existing customers.

• Degree/HND in Engineering or related science-based subject.
• Practical experience in Oil & Gas Industry, including exposure to process engineering, measurement, or instrumentation domain.
• Excellent written and oral Spanish and second language English.
