About the Role

This role involves managing financial activity and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Record monthly revenue, reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete monthly projects and checklists, review profit and loss statements, and provide general ledgers upon request.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to address issues, proactively inform management of concerns or barriers, and prepare accurate and timely reports for management and clients.
  • Budget Development: Work with senior/supervisor to develop projected annual revenue, expenses, and staffing budgets for clients, update budgets as necessary, and review the final budget for confirmation.
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or be actively pursuing one.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP compliance.
  • Show basic accounting knowledge and a willingness to expand upon it.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
