Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Marriott International. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for creating a memorable and unique experience for our guests. This involves staying up-to-date with new trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs. You'll be the host of our bar, not just a beverage enthusiast, and your role will extend beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service. Your expertise will be crucial in making our bar look and function flawlessly. You'll build relationships with colleagues across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on our guests' needs. We're looking for someone passionate about guest service who also has an eye for detail, from managing finances to providing excellent service.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Creating a safe and welcoming work environment
  • Following company policies and procedures
  • Protecting company assets
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Ensuring a professional uniform and personal appearance

Physical Demands

  • Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods
  • Hands-on approach to work, involving lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No specific license or certification required
