**Remarks**: Our client is a financially stable and growing regional bank looking for a Director of Mortgage Lending. This person will oversee all 1st and 2nd residential mortgage loans, consumer construction with lot and bridge financing, and HELOC. This will ultimately oversee both sales and loan production as well as underwriting and operations, so we need someone with experience on both sides. However, the preference is that this person leans more toward the sales side and driving production.This person will need to wear multiple hats.

They are very relationship focused and attract clients through the different products they offer outside of mortgage, such as, private banking, commercial lending, wealth management, treasury management, merchant services, etc.The People: Leadership is hands off, supportive, high performing, direct, easy to get along with, observant, and acts as a sounding board and interjects when needed but is not a micro manager.This bank is mission and accomplishment driven, they treat people well, and reward the people who make an impact and are in the right seat. The Pay: Dependent on experience and will be discussed on the phone.
Base salary plus incentive. Will pay some relocation costs if applicable. The Location: First preference is someone in (or willing to relocate to) Montana.Second choice would be either South Dakota, Wyoming, or Oregon because they have other operational people stationed in those states.With that said, they are open to someone highly qualified anywhere in their footprint. It will just depend on the person.
**Qualifications**: Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of mortgage leadership experience.Experience wearing multiple hats working with small to mid-size companies/banks.
