All reporting must be first cleared by INTERPOL Washington.The Project advisor will provide professional mentorship to host nation INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) officers and could support communication with the Government on shared terrorism investigative interests (with INTERPOL Washington and relevant Embassy).The Project Advisor will represent DOJ/ICITAP and INTERPOL Washington in meetings with the Department of State (DoS), and host nation NCB, and serve as the main point of contact in country for the NCB regarding Project TERMINUS activities. While the Project Advisor is one of DOJ/ICITAP's lead prime contractor representatives in Panama, the Project Advisor is NOT a US government official and may not represent himself/herself as such. The advisor will travel to other countries in the region, including but not limited to Barbados, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Trinidad & Tobago on an as-needed basis.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of a certified federal, state or municipal police academy; Minimum Experience: Minimum of 20 years of law enforcement experience, with most of the relevant experience in large agencies or department or in federal law enforcement agencies.Minimum of 10 years of progressive supervisory law enforcement experience to include management and oversight functions.Meet the knowledge requirements set forth by INTERPOL Washington Additional Skills: Demonstrated experience successfully interacting, leading or managing international initiatives. Demonstrated experience working with international counterparts, foreign governments and related entities.

Conversational (level 3-4 equivalent) in Spanish language. Demonstrated experience with superior performance in fiscal administration and accountability involving multiple funding sources or financial accounts. Demonstrated experience in professional engagement with executive-level law enforcement and diplomatic community representatives. Experience operating in austere and resource-strained environments; Proficient in Microsoft 365 or equivalent.Active SECRET clearance.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with INTERPOL Washington, INTERPOL General Secretariat, the Department of State or related agencies.Familiarity with the conduct of operations working in and around an embassy or consulate;Experience in the Western Hemisphere region with demonstrated understanding of diverse regional cultures and customs.Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, justice administration, public administration, business administration, or related fields from a Department of Education recognized institution.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
