As Material Planner you will play a key role for Manages supply chain for raw material flow to support customer requirements. Schedules procurement for a specified group of materials. Reviews material flow parameters such as order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, replenishment interval, and recommends appropriate levels to support the business/customer requirements. Manages raw material inventory buffer quantities. In this role you will be able to continuously works to improve the planning process. Identifies ways to improve customer service, inventory investment, and supply chain efficiency to achieve measurable results.

The impact you will make in this role

Role will be responsible to guarantee the required raw materials inventory levels to support production plan. This process will include:

- MRP analysis, where the replacement quantities will be defined, considering the inventory value associated. Decision-making involves establishing criteria and analyzing existing data to determine business impact.
- Generation and communication of new purchase orders, including the follow-up to ensure timely supply. This will require to execute a direct communication with suppliers to give visibility of future requirements based on demand and expected delivery dates.
- Manage all requirements and changes in purchase orders to suppliers, coordinate collection, adjustments in dates and quantities, align with all areas associated with the process until the availability of the required supplies in the plant.
- Coordinate the process of managing key purchasing parameters for the portfolios assigned such as: Lead Times, Safety Stocks, inventory replenishment intervals, lot sizes, etc.
- Conduct alignment meetings with production planning, logistics, purchasing, warehouse and quality, to ensure compliance with our raw material supply plans.

Your Skills and Expertise
- Industrial Engineer, Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Transportation or related careers.
- At least 2-3 years of experience on supply chain management, production operations management, materials management roles.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Data management and analysis.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft 365 programs.
- Teamwork skills.
- Communication skills within internal and external key contacts.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Negotiation Skills
