The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of HR activities in our Panama office. This position will handle a variety of administrative and HR tasks to ensure our business thrives by effectively supporting our personnel.

**How you can make an impact**:

- Participate in recruiting events such as university events and job fairs.
- Coordinate a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company.
- Enter and manage employee data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with third-party service providers to administer payroll.
- Provide support on a wide range of HR queries relating to company policies, benefits, and employment law.
- Assist in the upkeep of the employee handbook, organizational chart, and development of HR policies.
- Administer employee benefits, coordinate with brokers, and manage benefit enrollments and inquiries.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Suggest improvements to HR operations to increase efficiency.
- Organize employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications:
**Bring your passion, here's what’s needed**:

- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with a strong foundation in HR functions.
- Detailed knowledge of Panamanian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus, able to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce Now and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Resourceful and proactive in solving problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
