**Position Summary**:
We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Category Leader based in Panama, responsible for supporting the commercial and sourcing activity for Warehousing Equipment and Industrial Cleaning & Water Treatment used by Nestlé worldwide.
After a period of integration with the Global Category Leader currently in charge of this category, you will report to the Global Procurement Head of Technical and Logistics. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the Warehousing Equipment and Industrial Cleaning & Water Treatment spend in scope on a global level by using all strategic sourcing levers, processes, tools and policies.
The management of this global sourcing category is strategic for Nestlé's business worldwide.
The scope covers all of the group's industrial sites (over 450 sites) therefore supports all of Nestlé's activities and is fully integrated into the design and implementation of our group's Future Operation Landscape.
The challenges of evaluating, sourcing, and adopting new high-tech and automated solutions (including among many others our automated guided vehicles, automated storage and retrieval system) are central to this position, which requires end-to-end collaboration with our research, quality, IT, supply chain and engineering entities (both globally and locally) and of course our strategic partners located all over the world.
This position is thus a fantastic opportunity for a profile passionate about new technologies, the implementation of new solutions aimed at optimizing the efficiency of industrial operations while optimizing the use of energy and natural resources.

**A day in a life of a Global Procurement leader for Warehousing Equipment**:
- Manage her/his team of 7 to 10 high profile Procurement Managers (based in our Panama, Switzerland and Malaysia procurement’s hub) ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on cost following the defined global sourcing action plan and investment projects
- Define and shape with the other functions’ senior leaders the global procurement category strategy, defining key sourcing partners, procurement strategic levers and business continuity plan with key stakeholders
- Manage the relationship with markets, zones and globally managed business stakeholders to deploy the category strategy.
- Assess supplier performance with her/his team to ensure business continuity, managing key supplier claims when necessary
- Support negotiation with the most impactful suppliers/partners of her/his perimeter to reach the most competitive contracts on quality, supply and cost
- Ensure implementation of key strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies such as catalogue pricing, supplier management, standardization, aggregation, and best cost country sourcing by his team members.
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
**What will make you successful**:
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience with relevant procurement categories
- Ability to motivate and guide an experienced team of Global Procurement Manager with the adequate delegation granularity demonstrating leadership and ownership
- Hands-on mentality, perfectly autonomous with the sense of communication, leadership and ownership
- Ability to identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities year over year and orchestrate his team around these challenges
- Appetite to challenge the status quo and drive changes within the organization
- Strong flexibility and the mental agility to work in a cross-functional environment in a highly-complex global organization.
- Ability to resolve supply crisis with the adapted communication style internally and externally
- Proven track record of bringing innovative solutions to the business
