This is your opportunity, come and be part of Sangre Tigo Infrastructure Support Engineer Experience - Proven leadership in hybrid IT infrastructure environments. - Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (certification required). - Deep expertise in: - Database administration (Oracle 9-19, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS RDS). - Backup and recovery tools (RMAN, Datapump, EXP/IMP). - Performance tuning, high availability (Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Clustering). - Database security, auditing, and compliance with SOX requirements. - Scripting (Shell, Python) and automation of operational tasks. - Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, CloudWatch, Oracle Enterprise Manager). - Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. - Experience working with vendors and managing support escalation. Core Competencies - Customer-focused mindset with strong accountability and results orientation. - Leadership promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Innovation-driven, with ability to identify and implement value-adding solutions. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration and support in large-scale enterprise environments. - Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification preferred). Key Responsibilities - Administer, monitor, and maintain corporate databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) across hybrid environments (On[1]Premises & Cloud). - Lead critical incident recovery, coordinating technical teams and vendors for rapid service restoration. - Manage backups, recovery, security patches, and upgrades under ITIL processes. - Perform performance tuning, ensure high availability, and maintain compliance with SOX and IPE controls. - Automate maintenance tasks, monitoring, and reporting using scripting tools. - Execute database migrations, version upgrades, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. - Provide L2 support for incidents, requests, and changes, ensuring SLA compliance. - Produce dashboards, compliance reports, and operational metrics for database platforms. - Coordinate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to ensure reliability and compliance We are a leading multinational company of mobile services, internet and cable television that is present in Latin America and we are the leading telecommunications company in Panama.
