What the role isThe Growth Real Estate Intern will support the real estate growth initiatives for the company and assist in deals analysis, project timelines, financial assessments, and research processes to facilitate the expansion of our global real estate footprint.What you will be doingAssess and underwrite real estate deals with high-level assumptions, using market and historical performanceSupporting internal & external presentations, investment teasers, memorandum, and other comm materials.Scrutinize different data points such as market trends, comps, lead performance, etc. To increase the underwriting accuracyAssisting with P&L inputs to real estate team according to the scenario of each new Selina locationLeverage online and offline data to determine which neighborhoods or nodes are most relevant for Selina from a branding and pricing standpointQualify hotel properties leads in different markets that complies with the company business modelSupport in the sourcing of deals & opportunities organically and from partners such as brokers, hunters, public and private entities, and the network.Support the growth’s sustainability of the company from a growth strategy, capital, and go-to-market perspectiveLeverage data sources (such as Real Capital Analytics, STR, public data) to identify market trends, lead indicators, and a broaden access to relevant dataIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in various datasetsTrack and develop a working knowledge of real estate fundamentals, tourism trends, and industry trendsDevelop and refine tools and templates to address internal needs of the global real estate team such as tracking and performance dashboardWhat you need for the roleCurrently enrolled in the universityAt least being able to complete 6 months of internshipAble to provide a university letter confirming the internship periodFluent in English and SpanishIdeally prior experience related to real estate, finance, growth capital, growth strategy, and/or market researchExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and modeling skillsStrong math and advanced research skillsDemonstrated use of analytical problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage projects in a timely and thorough mannerExperience with Salesforce is considered a plus.What can you expectFull remote opportunityFull free access to the Selina CoWork spaces, culture, and wellness activities where you will connect with our unique environment and community.Your birthday is time offCultural events and Wellness activities at LocationsVoluntary Activities - Selina Gives BackTraining Sessions 24/7No Dress Code & Pet Friendly3 Free Days Accommodation (Dorms) in any SelinaSelina Experience: 30% OFF Accommodation 25% OFF Friends and Family20% OFF F&B and RetailCompletion Certificate
