Cmdb Administrator

Lead the IT Assets & CMDB, design the data model, integrate discovery (endpoints/cloud), and keep configuration data accurate and auditable. Map business services and dependencies to enable BC/DR, Change, and Incident. Partner with Infra/Security to automate inventory, lifecycle, and license/compliance reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and maintain the CMDB model (classes, attributes, relationships, states) and naming standards.
- Integrate discovery sources (Intune/MECM, Entra/Azure AD, Azure, vCenter/Hyper-V, Lansweeper) and reconcile data.
- Build service maps (M365, SAP BO, VPN, in-house apps) with owners, RTO/RPO, and runbooks.
- Set data quality KPIs (completeness, freshness, uniqueness) and run periodic remediation.
- Align Change so deployments automatically update CIs.
- Publish asset lifecycle processes (procure→deploy→support→retire), warranty/EOL, and license compliance.
- Produce dashboards/reports and audit evidence.
- Ensure tickets reference CIs for impact analysis and Problem trends.
- Automate ETL/normalization, manage CMDB access/roles and audit trails.
- Train teams and maintain documentation/playbooks.

**Skills & Qualifications**

**Essential**
- 5+ years with CMDB/ITAM (Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Assets).
- Discovery/inventory across Intune/MECM, Entra/Azure AD, Azure, vCenter/Hyper-V.
- Strong data reconciliation (keys, dedupe, source precedence, normalization).
- Service mapping and linkage to Incident/Change/Problem.
- Reporting (Excel/Power BI), APIs/JSON, CSV imports.
- Scripting for data tasks (PowerShell; Python nice to have).
- Clear documentation and stakeholder communication (EN/ES).

**Desirable (Nice to have)**
- Admin of Freshservice CMDB; Lansweeper experience; SAM/license compliance.
- BCDR exposure (RTO/RPO, runbook links, test evidence).
- ITIL Foundation; work in regulated environments (ISO 27001/SOX).
