The Procurement Manager position is responsible for supporting and executing the procurement strategy to ensure materials are on time to the plants. Responsibilities include oversight and management of team(s), material contract balances, inventory management to forecast. Roles provides support to senior procurement manager, director, coordinators, and buyers. Role works closely with supply planning operations, the factories, suppliers, and external contractors. Responsible for processes, best practices, cost containment, cost savings, special projects, and service. Managing and developing resource personnel.

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for supply execution & on time performance of the plants. Work closely with the procurement team(s), suppliers to ensure WIP is on time and all milestones are met. Raises awareness of any issues when appropriate to cross functional areas, as necessary. When challenges arise, provide proactive communication and workable solutions as necessary and recommendations.- Builds and develops supplier relationships in a strategic manner, while collaborating to improve cost, service performance, quality, execution, communication, and responsiveness.- Management and facilitation of buy review process, including determining what needs to be purchased. Identification of potential raw material liabilities. Management of KPI’s and service dashboard, as necessary. Oversight of three-way process and resolution in a timely manner.- Responsible for departmental teams' performance, including resource personal development, training, and support. This includes managing goals and objectives alignment with the company overall goals.- Assist with developing service and pricing strategies.- Engagement and alignment with company business goals and brand strategies; Ability to interrupt brand strategies and develop & support those strategies effectively with timebound action plans and milestones; Ensuring that the execution strategy is aligned with supporting the overall brand strategies.- Ensures social responsibility processes are managed satisfactorily, supplier audits actionable items are resolved in a timely manner and as necessary requirement and sustainability compliance requirements are met. Follows QA guideline for material quality, returns for defective materials.- Ensures compliance with material import regulations for each country or region being serviced.

**Experience**:
- Procurement or Sourcing experience required (2 to 5 years)- Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience required, apparel background a plus.- Engineering and or relevant experience to drive execution of strategies effectively, including positive impact to bottom line cost benefit and savings; effective negotiation skills required.- Ability and required experience to manage personnel resources at the highest level.- Ability to impact change in a positive fashion.

**Education**:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree required- Supply Chain, Textiles, Procurement, Engineering or and manufacturing a plus. International travel required- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) both effective written and verbal communications.
