Job Description What's The Role?The Senior Manager, Product Development is responsible for turning the LLA connectivity roadmap into real, launched, products, providing LLA’s opcos with world-class services in terms of customer experience, cost, and opportunity, ensuring the profitable growth of the business. What You´ll DoLead the definition of connectivity products functional specification, user experience, service levels and device designWork with all regional, local and external stakeholders to fully productize solution, including marketing, customer experience, finance, reporting, revenue assuranceCoordinate the technical implementation activities of the product, and the procurement processes that are needed for new products developmentEnsure product meets requirements criteria of all local and LLA stakeholders, as well as quality standardsManage the Minimum Viable Product definition for launch, and phasing to protect the scope, cost and time to market, in agreement with local product teamsDefine and manage the LLA connectivity product development processAssemble and manage the cross-company, cross-functional project team tasked with developing, deploying and commercially launching the products set in the roadmapManage CAPEX and OPEX planning, spend and forecasting, coordinating with internal and external task owners Knowledge & Experience: 10+ years of demonstrable experience of broadband product development and deployment in the Telco industry5+ years of experience in management of complex, multiyear, Hi-Tech projects in multi-cultural environments5+ years of experience in multi-million USD budget management5+ years of proven experience engaging effectively with and presenting to executive and senior level managementSkills & Abilities: Proven product design and development capability in broadband services at a strong technical level.Ability to mitigate risk and manage uncertaintyproduct design and development processes and techniquesMass-market product deployment and launchManagement of multi-functional, multi-cultural project teams in international teamsMulti-million USD budget tracking, forecast and managementConnectivity industry and technology savvyAbility to work with technical and business counterpartsExecutive communication and presentationsManagement of ~30-person size teams of dotted-lined reportsStrong interpersonal skills, including active listening, presentation, negotiation, motivation and conflict resolution Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach. Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided.Strong English written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations.Preferred education/ qualifications: BS in business administration or engineeringMasters level Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
