Position Summary The primary function of Tech Infrastructure Technician is to maintain, diagnose and repair faulty systems creating a productive technological environment. Working harmoniously with a team in support of the school community while following school policy, regulations, objectives and goals. Reporting Line and Organizational Structure This position reports to: Compliance, Safety & Information Security Manager Department: Compliance, Safety & Information Security Main Stakeholders: academic and non academic staff, students, parents, providers, community. Appointees are accountable for completing available training on these matters and ensuring that their knowledge, and the knowledge of their staff, is up to date. Key Accountabilities 25 % Monitor network performance and troubleshoots problem areas as required 25% Inspect LAN (Wired and WIFI) and WAN infrastructure for problems 20% Design and improve high-functioning computer network connections 20% Address and solve system failures to increase network uptime 10% Look for innovation and deployment of Infrastructure solutions Functions/Responsibilities - WHAT YOU’LL DO Provide technological support and advice to the whole community propitiating an exemplary and harmonic environment while keeping technological systems running smoothly. Verify systems, terminals, devices and network problems to maintain, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults. Maintenance of computers networks and Operating Systems looking for optimization of devices. Look and research for innovations that make sure We are always up to date, propitiating the technological environment in the educational process. Work in the Mac integration with our systems servers and softwares for better communication with the terminal and user experience.
