AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Construction Engineer for employment in Panama City, Panama.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Under limited direction, applies advanced engineering theories, concepts, principles, processes and novel approaches to major and complex construction projects.
- Utilizes advanced techniques and an extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering problems and methods.
- Directs a group of engineers at a construction site.
- Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating complex engineering assignments on a small to medium sized project.
- Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins

**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures
- Experience in the evaluation and validation of contractors change order requests against contract documents
- Bilingual - English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.
