Main Purpose:
Duties include understanding databases, analyzing data and responsible for creating and maintaining data models utilizing Microsoft Azure and Tableau to generate actionable insights and visualizations to support decisions making for our retail business line.

Also, role contribution can help analysts and managers improve business, extracting useful data from various and different databases, developing and maintaining data models, and performing or leading data modeling and visualization techniques.

Understand databases and analyze data
- Design and implement data models that accurately reflect business processes and support analytical requirements.
- Create and maintain a variety of dashboards and reports to support ongoing analysis for decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify data that could be valuable to the business and plan its extraction

Extract and transform data
- Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies related to data analytics.
- Extract and transform data using ETL’s tools
- Research automation processes and leverage automation to allow focus on high-impact activities
- Propose data base improvements or solution such as data base links, views and queries

Develop data models
- Utilize Microsoft Azure and Tableau to collect, process, and analyze large amounts of data.
- Develop and maintain data models in order to give visibility to the business and a quick response to new inquiries or requests from both IT and the business

Develop dashboards
- Maintain developed reports, ensure they are updated and verify the results shown in them in order to generate credibility.
- Propose enhancements to the existing dashboards
- Design and implement KPI’s & SLA reports
- Lead dashboards developments for Retail business.
- Develop new dashboards for Retail business

To be the link between the business and DA Team
- Work with stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Lead presentation, discovery and board presentation meetings with the business
- Understand the business requirements and be able to convey the needs to the IT Team
- Provide training and support to business users as needed.
- Calculate workload demand to manage business expectations.
- Be able to manage demand from business and creates synergy with global Data Analytic team in order to manage the DA Architecture for regional purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Speak Spanish and English fluently
- Capable of managing multiple initiatives
- Available for possible relocation

**Experience**:

- 4+ years of experience in analytics/data science/insights/strategy
- 3+ years of experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, MS Azure, ETL’s, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Data Studio, or similar technologies)
- Experience integrating different IT systems
- Multicultural environment experience
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions
- Knowledge of Energy industry and Convenience Retail businesses and key processes

- Communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills and team working also virtually
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate resources
