We are searching the best talent for **Line Manager HIV, Legacy and PAH - Central America & The Caribbean **to be located in **Panamá **.
Purpose: The Line Manager will lead Janssen’s HIV-PAH-Legacy portfolio with both the strategic and the commercial responsibility, providing leadership, management, guidance, and customer product expertise to the sales team reporting to their structure. The Line Manager meets or exceeds established sales goals through the strategy design and launch plan implementation of the marketing and sales activities, identifying market dynamics, challenges, and opportunities to determine portfolio strategies. Responsible of aligning internal functional areas and external partner’s work towards benefiting the most patients in the region.
- You will be responsible for:
- Developing the Brand strategy together with the multifunctional team/external partners and leading the efforts towards aligned portfolio goals.
- Establishing team and individual sales goals and providing effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance.
- Leading internal financial process such as, but not limited to, sales latest thinking, financial business plan and long-range financial plans.
- Allocating or adjusting resources as needed.
- Ensuring sales activities are in compliance with all federal/national, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures.
- Collecting and utilizing all necessary commercial information.
- Influencing Key Account Managers (KAM) and Access Managers to increase company products presence with key private and public accounts.
- Creating daily, weekly, monthly activity and productivity reports. Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales on both a group and individual level.
- Preparing, allocating and controlling budgets for a particular district or region; Assisting sales representatives with questions and supporting customers requiring additional assistance.
- Leading specific promotional events or projects to improve sales performance. Working closely with sales reps, access and external partners (DSRs, CSO) to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and necessary changes required to achieve objectives.
- Interviewing, hiring and evaluating the performance of sales representatives.
- Administering promotions and incentives and providing motivation as needed.
- Actively participating on multifunctional team meetings to ensure good collaboration between areas.
- Maintaining the highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability; acting in accordance with the J&J Credo to create a supportive environment for others to report potentially unethical or noncompliant activity, ensuring employee ownership for compliance and quality.
**Qualifications**:
- Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
- Experience in marketing, sales or relevant commercial areas is required.
- Demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical business, leading and developing sales teams is required.
- Understanding of the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry business cycle, especially public accounts in Central America and the Caribbean is preferred.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical and digital channels skills are required.
- Marketing experience is preferred: capturing market insights and translating this into viable solutions for customers, communicating value, translating market dynamics into pricing strategy, ensuring portfolio sustainability, demand planning and new product launches.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required.
- This position is based in Panamá and may require up to 50% of travel.
