Software Build Staff Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Deploys the service to production, including out-of-band releases
- Coordinates and oversees any required scheduled maintenance
- Monitors the service in production and responds to alerts and incidents
- Troubleshoots the service when necessary
- Troubleshoots issues with Azure and involves Microsoft to help resolve issues
- Monitors and services the Kubernetes infrastructure
- Monitors Azure Advisor for security and cost recommendations
- Executes secret rotation (including SSL certificates)
- Executes drills - failover, backup/recovery
- Creates and maintains documentation of standard operating procedures and policies
- Part of and assists with managing 24/7 on-call structure of the operations team
- Deliver professional solutions in connection with the products and appliances sold by the company
- Contact and collaborate with development if needed to solve issues

The role includes on-call availability and possible overtime.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- University degree or equivalent professional experience

KNOWLEDGE
- Linux administration/configuration/monitoring
- Windows administration/configuration/monitoring
- Kubernetes administration/configuration/monitoring
- Azure monitoring/management

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Scripting - bash, Power Shell, etc.
- Helm administration and charts development
- Ability and interest to learn new technology/systems/services
