**Plant Manager - Panama Factory**
**Location**: Panama (Full Onsite)
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
**Salary**: Negotiable depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced **Plant Manager** to lead this initiative, overseeing the **entire project lifecycle**, including **site selection, facility construction, equipment installation, staff recruitment, and production management**.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the **site selection, design, and construction** of the new facility.
- Oversee the **installation and commissioning** of manufacturing equipment.
- Develop **production processes** that align with safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Implement **quality assurance** and regulatory compliance measures.
- Manage **supply chain, procurement, and inventory control**.
- Recruit, train, and lead a **high-performing production team**.
- Monitor **key performance indicators (KPIs)** to optimize production output.
- Ensure compliance with **local, national, and international food safety regulations**.
- Foster a **culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement**.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **7+ years** of manufacturing management experience, including **3+ years in a plant management role**.
- Proven **experience in setting up new manufacturing facilities** (preferably in the food/confectionery sector).
- Strong **project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills**.
- In-depth knowledge of **manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control**.
- **Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish** is highly desirable.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in **confectionery or food production**.
- Familiarity with **lean manufacturing principles and process optimization**.
- Strong **financial and budget management skills**.
- Ability to collaborate with **cross-functional teams** and external stakeholders.
