We help our customers get identity and access management right. We are now seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our SaaS team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and recruiting a globally distributed group of team-first technical professionals.
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the engineering organization, including mentorship and career development opportunities.
- Conducting regular one-on-ones, career development sessions, and performance assessments.
- Managing the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) using the Agile methodology.
- Collaborating across the Engineering organization on technical architectures and standards.
- Managing the daily operation of a high availability SaaS solution through monitoring, on-call support, and incident response.
- Partnering with Product, Customer Support, Security, and other business areas to ensure teams are aligned on priorities and enabling others to be effective.
- Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and/or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of management/leadership experience.
- Exceptional understanding of software engineering processes and methodologies.
- Excellent technical design abilities; including for cloud native, mobile, and desktop OS solutions.
- Software development expertise across multiple stacks, frameworks, and languages (e.g..NET/C#, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Flutter, Angular, React).
- Experience with cloud hosting providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and their services.
- Experience building systems using modern datastores, including RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and message queueing systems.
- Strong decision-making skills, ability to communicate ideas effectively, get results, and follow through.
- Ability to innovate, think creatively, and willingness to explore new innovative ideas and approaches.
- Works well in a team environment or individually, with integrity, maturity, and a positive attitude.

Nice-to-have
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) functionality and related technologies such as OAuth, JWT, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
- Knowledge of cloud native architectures and API design.
- Experience with cloud hosting providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and their services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS).
