Job Title: Timber Procurement Manager

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the Timber market in Latin America, specifically focusing on Panama, to identify potential suppliers and sellers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sellers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers and sellers to secure competitive prices, favorable terms, and high-quality Timber logs.
- Monitor market trends, including price fluctuations and supply-demand dynamics, to guide procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the procurement team and project managers, to align procurement strategies with project timelines and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and environmental regulations related to Timber procurement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to streamline operations and achieve cost savings.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Timber procurement, specifically from Latin America, with a focus on Panama.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable deals.
- In-depth knowledge of Timber grades, quality standards, and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with legal and environmental regulations related to Timber procurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and sellers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

**Salary**: From B/.3,000.00 per month

Ability to Relocate:

- Panamá, Provincia de Panamá: Relocate before starting work (required)
