Position summary

As a Regional Procurement Manager for Packaging, you will play a central role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of this critical category worldwide. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll define the direction, objectives, and relevant success metrics, ensuring a seamless roadmap from strategy to implementation. With your expertise and influence, you will unlock business value, create competitive advantage, and lead transformation on a global scale.

A day in a life of a Regional Procurement Manager - Packaging: 

• Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
• Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools, and policies.
• Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.   
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management, lead the commercial relationship with strategic suppliers and ensure regular contract SLAs.
• Drive Nestlé sustainable packaging agenda with the suppliers
• Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards. 

What makes you successful: 

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering.
• Proven and well-established experience in Procurement and ideally in Packaging categories.
• Ability to work in an international and complex environment.
• Strong command of Excel and at ease with SAP and PowerPoint.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency .
• Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
• Fluent in English, another language will be an asset.
