Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the commercial and strategic direction of our cardiometabolic portfolio across BASAC. Your scope includes Argentina, Chile, Colombia, SAM (South America), and CAC (Central America & Caribbean), collaborating closely with affiliates and regional leadership. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead and implement end-to-end marketing strategies for the cardiometabolic portfolio, balancing long-term strategy with strong tactical execution.
• Oversee advertising, promotional activities, and launch excellence, ensuring compelling and compliant communication to both patients and healthcare stakeholders.
• Build a deep understanding of the patient-as-consumer journey, identifying non-obvious influencers across the weight-management and cardiovascular ecosystem.
• Conduct and translate market research into actionable insights to drive portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with medical, commercial, sales, regulatory, and regional partners to ensure cohesive, aligned, and impactful cross-functional execution.
• Manage and develop a marketing team of 4 direct reports, creating a high-performance culture.
• Represent the business at key regional and external events, positioning BASAC as a leader in cardiometabolic innovation.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience in cardiovascular, cardiometabolic, or patient-driven/consumer-focused categories is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead launches and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and execution capabilities.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Regional experience highly valued.
• Availability to travel up to 40% of the time.
