Senior Accountant

About the company
A Korean multinational in medical diagnostics. The Panama office recently became part of the global group and is transitioning to multinational processes, controls and reporting, including an SAP implementation.

What you’ll do

• Own the full accounting cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close and financial statements
• Manage accounts receivable: aging analysis, bad debt provision and subledger reconciliation
• Prepare fixed asset rollforwards and depreciation
• Calculate payroll provisions and employer contributions, and support Panama tax compliance (income tax, ITBMS)
• Communicate in English with headquarters in Korea
• Support the SAP implementation and the standardization of processes
• Guide a small accounting team

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA desirable)
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Fluent spoken English (required)
• Advanced Excel: formulas linking sheets, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables
• Knowledge of Panama taxes and payroll
• SAP or multinational experience is a plus

• Salary up to USD 3,500 per month

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., plus two Saturday mornings per month
