Job Summary:

Internship Program 2024 in Project Management area.


The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to qualify potential student talents through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level.

Our approach prepares new talents to face their upcoming professional challenges.

Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities.

In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new trainees to put their full potential into action.

The position is based in Panama City, Panama
You must be active in the last 2 years (or less) of your university degree.
Start Date January 16, 2024
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do:

As a Credit & Collections Intern you will:

  • Track issues using daily reports on the status of delinquent accounts and collection efforts.
  • Prepare monthly reports showing delinquency trends and analyzing collection results.
  • Maintain daily customer contact with Customer.
  • Send invoices, statements, and regular mail as needed.
  • Manage and regularly review scheduled customer payment plans.
  • Be responsible for evaluating clients' account statements and financial transactions, analyzing their credit scores, and creating payment plans for outstanding debts.

As a Customer Service Intern you will:

  • Create and analyze weekly reports.
  • Fill some documents to send to customers
  • Complete research and analysis on data
  • Support the team with daily activities
  • Collaborate with the team on a shared goal, learn how to plan and prioritize on concrete goals and tasks; also support in our continuous improvement journey in quality, logistics and office pillar

As a Supplier Management Intern you will:

  • Support of admin tasks for out Supplier Management Shared Service Center.
  • Prepare RFQ (request for quotation).
  • Follow up on suppliers.
  • Support for projects from other team members and/or Regional buyers.
  • Be responsible for support Supplier Managers on conducting Sourcing and Contracting related activities, as RFI, RFQ, Contracting, purchasing requisition conference, etc and you will learn how the procurement department works on a multinational environment, and also develop some soft skills as communication, time management and problem solving.

As a Project Management Intern you will:

  • Support project managers to:
  • Build schedules
  • Perform risk analysis
  • Control costs
  • Check quality
  • Support in solving technical problems.

As a Marketing Intern you will:

  • Develop presentations
  • Research market details and trends
  • Manage monitoring of internal processes
  • Begin a learning experience where your main responsibilities will be to investigate and understand the consumer in different food and beverage categories, follow up on internal marketing support processes and develop your professional growth through a specific project

As a Service Account Intern you will:

  • Service quotation
  • Preparation of reports
  • Invoicing, support on lists
  • Retorn follow up process.

As an Upgrades Project Support Intern you will:

  • Support on projects related to the upgrades area/department
  • Coordinate activities such as:
  • Materials dispatch
  • Process improvement
  • Technical documentation.

As a Logistics Intern you will:

  • Book invoices.
  • Analyze shipping documentation.
  • Perform Compliance Control.
  • Continuous improvement activities based on import documentation deviation reported, this includes the missing load number of Transport Documents.
  • Support with audits.
  • Maintain a regular, reliable and constant working system to receive and deliver all documents.
  • Make documents available everywhere on time to several Tetra Pak companies and Customer Service and Finance department
  • Be part of the Tetra Pak International Business Operations and learn more of the Continuous Improvement of different activities, and Import documentation compliance. You will also check different transportation methods within Europe, retroactive freight invoicing auditing (road and sea freights), and support audits to identify overpayments to carriers

We believe you have:

  • Bachelor studies in one of the recommended majors for the position selected.
  • Expected graduation date between July 2024 and December 202
  • Advanced English & Spanish language level is a must.
  • Be active in the last 2 years (or less) of your college career.
  • Have availability to work 8 hours a day during the program.
