JOB TITLE & PURPOSE OF THE JOB
  • Job Title: Work Package Controller
  • Job Code: FI-PC-00
  • Purpose of the job: Responsible for cost controlling and reporting work packages' related costs. Providing clear and transparent data on costs incurred to date and at completion to meet financial targets. Potential supervision of a team of cost controllers/analysts.
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
  • Organisation Structure: Head Quarter / Finance (Project Control)
  • Reports Directly to: Site Controller
  • Direct Reports: Cost Controller, Financial Analyst
ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES
  • Key Accountabilities
  • Cash Flow, Cost, and Revenue Margin Management
  • Monitor and forecast cash flows from the project, analyze actual costs incurred versus forecasts, coordinate with supply chain department to track cost progress, and more.
  • Contribute to the optimization of financial performance of work packages, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial elements are in line with forecasts.
  • Reporting and Coordination
  • Provide all work package financial reporting, interface with operations and challenge cost evolution, and validate contract database.
  • Financial Administration
  • Ensure compliance with Transport and PL rules, respect and apply transport tenders and projects processes.
  • Management
  • Provide management with reliable financial data for decision-making, conduct ad-hoc reporting on projects.
EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES
  • Educational Requirements
  • Mandatory: Academic background with a degree in finance or business management, financial qualification, or engineering degree with financial training.
  • Experience
  • Mandatory: 3 years of experience in long-term contracting and accounting as a Work Package Controller. English proficiency preferred.
  • Competencies & Skills
  • Ability to interpret business-related data, excellent communication skills, affinity to finance and numbers, good knowledge of MS Excel, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
