As an Accounting Manager you will be responsible for supporting Records to Report processes, Month End Closing on designated organization and people management.

What you'll do

  • Be responsible for staffing, succession, performance, and capability building within Records to Report Team.
  • Oversee the Month End Closing process in collaboration with internal and external parties, accountable for Records to Report Key Performance Indicators.
  • Review that all balances and movements are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available, responsible for E2E Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation process (BSAR) and Continuous Controlling.
  • Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulations (Signify Accounting Principles, IFRS, local regulations, ICS).
  • Participate in projects and other continuous improvements efforts for Month end closing and other financial objectives.
Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Accounting (CPA or alike).
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting areas, experience leading teams preferred.
  • Soft and Coach skills to guide and engage a team towards challenging objectives.
  • Strong Continuous Improvement skills
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferable.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required (Portuguese is a plus).
  • Lean experience preferred Experience in shared services operational environment (preferred).
  • Handson leader Strong collaborator, networker internally.
